MFAI Workshop
Art in the Garden
‘Plein Air” Painting
in Stella Gardens
10:00am - 2:00pm
- For begining and intermediate art enthusiasts. This afternoon will explore approaches to painting a garden from direct observation. From start to finish you will be exploring color and testing techniques that will help you to create the depth and mood of the garden on canvas.
- Janet Sorensen has been painting and teaching art for many years. Her work includes oils, acrylic and watercolor paintings as well as plate etchings and sculpture that focus on the poetic beauty of our natural environment.
- Janet’s series of garden oil paintings will be on display at Michael Fields through the summer.
