Tour of Firefly Ridge (UW Cooperative Extension) and Honey Acres (Nicole Capizzi) in Wauwatosa

Sixteen folks drove out to Wauwatosa to visit, tour and learn about the gardens.
There were pumpkins that were heading for the largest pumpkin contest.
Ten beehives for the Master bee-Keepers course run by the UWex
Broom corn, market flowers, wheat and calico beans grown by Nicole Cappizzi and a new poly house just being set up.

It is a community garden with over 150 plots available and more to be created next year. Some gardeners are growing enough to sell for farmers markets.
